The trailer for “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” has just been released and it’s quite disturbing. It shows a future where humans are enslaved and apes rule.
Starting off, a group of riding apes can be seen searching for humans. With spears and bows they’re definitely accomplished fighters. The trailer then turns to a scene where people are laboring their lives away in mines and fields almost like animals. They appear to be scared.
There is also a clip that depicts a person being cut apart with sharp equipment by apes. Almost as if they’re experiencing torture.
Lastly, it concludes with an ape’s face who appears to have malice in its eyes while growling. This teaser makes it clear that “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will be dark and brutal.
